Here is some information that will assist you during your stay. We hope you have a wonderful time at Fort Myers Beach.
Management, Emergency & Maintenance
- We are managed by Sandcastle Community Management. We do not have an on-site property manager.
- For a building maintenance issue or emergency, i.e. water leak, call Sandcastle Community Management at (828) 633-4195.
- For a FIRE emergency, call 911 and evacuate the building.
- For any maintenance issues within your unit, call the owner or rental agency of the unit that you are renting.
- Elevator issues – if you are stuck inside an elevator, press the help button and the alarm bell to contact the elevator company. The elevator company will contact 911 to assist you. Do not try to open the doors as it can cause bodily harm to you or others in the elevator.
Registration
- Register your stay and your vehicle at our website https://sandarac2.com/registration/
- Parking Pass – must be displayed on the dashboard of your car. Parking passes are available in each building lobby. No owner/renter/guest is allowed to park more than two (2) vehicles on the premises. The parking of campers, mini-homes, recreational vehicles, boats, trailers, etc. is not permitted.
- Renter or Guest Pets – no renter/guest is allowed to keep pets on the condominium property.
- Owner Pets – Owners must register pets at our website https://sandarac2.com/ and receive written approval, and are limited to no more than two (2) indoor house cats, two (2) small birds in cage, and a reasonable number of tropical fish in an aquarium no larger than twenty (20) gallons.
- Service and Emotional Support Animals must be registered at our website https://sandarac2.com/ and approved by the Board of Directors.
Community Rules & Information
- All units have WIFI provided by Century Link. Locate the router in your unit. Find the label on the router – it provides the SSID and the Key/Passphrase.
- If you need more help or have a repair issue, chat with us at Q.com, or call 833-926-1289, or email: fibersuccess@lumen.com. Let them know this is a Bulk property, Sandarac II, and provide your address. They are open 7 days a week, 8 am-midnight EST.
- Pool Rules: Pool is open from 9:00 am to DUSK (when the outside landscaping lights turn on). Observe all posted rules. Pool closes during severe weather when lightning is detected within 10 miles – leave the area. Each unit has a unique fob and code to access the pool.
- Cabana Rentals – contact Mid-Island Sports at (239) 765-7327 or the onsite booth on the beach.
- Trash – chutes are located on each floor near the elevator. Secure garbage in plastic bags. Use trash chutes between 8:00 am to 10:00 pm only. Do not throw glass down the chute at any time. Trash days are Monday and Thursday (November – April) and Monday only (May-October)
- Recycling bins for paper/paper cups, flattened cardboard/paperboard, plastic bottles/cups/containers, glass bottles/containers, and food/beverage cans are located in the parking lot near Estero Blvd. Items are to be placed “loose” in the bin – no loose bags or bagged recyclables.
- Quiet Hours: Be considerate of your neighbors. After 10:00 pm, noise or disturbing the peace complaints should be directed to the Sheriff’s Office at (239) 477-1000.
- No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes in common areas (walkways, landings, stairways, courtyard, beach entrance or any area shared with other owners), elevators, pool area and social room.
- A luggage cart and shopping cart are located outside of the north and south buildings. Remember to return the carts promptly.
Hurricane Season – June 1 to November 30
Hurricanes have the potential to inflict catastrophic harm to our community. Hurricane re-entry passes are available at the Town of Fort Myers Beach. New passes are required each year. Be prepared by reading the Hurricane Guide.
Turtle Season – May 1 to October 31

- Turtles are protected by local, state and federal laws. Follow these rules:
- Please turn off or shield all lights visible from the beach, including balcony lights. Direct lights downward.
- Close blinds and drapes at dark.
- Use certified wildlife friendly fixtures with an amber LED bulb.
- Never shine a flashlight, smart phone, or use flash photography near a sea turtle.
- Remove all beach furniture, tents, and toys each evening.
- Fill in holes dug on the beach – holes can trap hatchlings.
- If you find a hatchling during the daytime, place it in a dry container and call Turtle Time, Inc. immediately: (239) 481-5566.

Lighting Safety
Lightning can be a striking risk from as far as 10 miles away. Most lightning occurs during the summer, though people can be struck by lightning at any time of the year. Stay safe! Leave the beach area and pool area during stormy conditions.
